Took a drive up highway 50 this morning. Lots of closed roads in the forest still and a little snow around. Hiked my tube in about a mile to my destination. The Fish Cat is a heavy SOB. Water Temp 39 degrees. Very little bug or fish activity. Managed to get a couple of small fish going deep with a leech. Both skinny and in need of a few good meals.

Back at it again yesterday. This time at a mid-level elevation lake I had never fished before. 50 degree water seemed to suit the fish better.
