Rollins or other nearby options

I think I may have asked this a while ago but couldn't find the thread.
Would like to take my 9 year old son to go bream/bluegill/other sunfish fishing. Would like to get him fired up on fly fishing by doing some easy sight fishing. Is this good to do in Rollins? If yes is one spot better than another? How about elsewhere in the I80 foothills? Not asking for the awesome secret spot; just looking for a direction to be pointed in.

Some times you can find a farm pond that you can pay to fish by the day.

April/May is averagely the best time for Spring panfish and bass.
