There is some fishing that I like to do every year and feel the year would be incomplete without. Winter steelhead, spring bass, summer backpacking trout and fall steelhead are the big ones. If I went a year without one of those I would feel like I missed out on something. Some years I don't do them a lot but I try to do them at least a little. I have been on the bass a lot this year as part of my fishing in place program but it was about time for some steelhead in the Sacramento Valley so my buddy and I did a float day with Ryan Williams. We had a great time, got to take advantage of his river knowledge and caught some nice fish. Maybe I will get to the Klamath in a few weeks.

Hopefully you are getting out. If you are make a post. We could use a few good fishing posts here on the board.

A nice wild fish.

A beautiful hatchery fish. It is good to have a buddy that can take a good picture while you hold the fish. He actually took all the fish pictures here so full credit to him.

Where you find salmon you find people. Sometimes a lot of people.
