I think we will have some real Fall weather by mid-October this year.
Night time temperatures are falling fast down into the 50s.
Stripers are coming into the Delta from the ocean and bays. Oct/Nov/Dec are big months.
Fall is prime time for many mid-elevation lakes like Davis, Frenchmans, Eagle and Pyramid.
Lots of large trout stream turn on in the Fall at mid-elevations.
Oct/Nov are good months for Fall Steelheading. Not too hot and not too cold...yet.
Get something on the calendar.
With COVID and Fires we need to be careful.
