MBSTP, the southern most coho salmon hatchery was damaged by the CZU Fire.

The small nonprofit hatchery which is located on Big Creek, a tributary to Scott Creek was damaged by the CZU Fires in Santa Cruz/San Mateo county. This hatchery is crucial for the recovery of central coast coho salmon.
