Pit River Camp Grounds

I was hoping to fish the pit in a couple weeks but looks like the campgrounds are still closed. The PGE website doesn't say much. I called the fly shop and they didnt know.

Has anyone heard when PGE plans to open? Im hoping someone on here has better info. Thanks in advance.

I was just up there and for sure the campgrounds (and unfortunately the toilets) are closed. The hotels in Burney are open so you could stay there.

I stayed at the Big Pine PG&E dispersed camping site a few weeks ago. No signs or apparent restrictions. Ruling Creek is gated off, but there was access to Madesi. Just the bathroom was locked at that location.
