Agree entirely Bill.IMHO there's three books about Bonefishing, and in no particular order,Dick Brown's "Fly Fishing for Bonefish" (1993..revised 2008),Randall Kaufmann's "Bonefishing!" (2000) and Chico's "Fly-Fishing for Bonefish" (2004) and all contribute to the collective knowledge.Mr.Brown's 334 page original book is somewhat dated now but nonetheless essential reading (I don't have the updated version).Similarly Randall's 415 page tome covers it all and then some as it addresses Permit,Tarpon and Trevally.
However Chico's effort gets my vote as it's "all killer no filler" and has the bonus of a short chapter on "The other Gamefish on the flats"

We were so fortunate to have Chico come to our fly shop over 20 years ago to teach us some of this techniques.

We had a salt water flat school one day, one evening we had a salt water tying class.

He stayed with us at our home in Davis, CA and it was so wonderful to have some 'one on one' with such a great man.

All the best fly fishers like Chico still ask questions of my staff about what was new.

Once you stop asking questions you are finished learning.
