In the 1970s the local fly club, the CFFU, Califronia Fly Fishermen Unlimited, always had an annual outing to Pyramid Lake.

My brother Dick and I were the news letter editors during this time.

We drove up in my 1970 VW Bug and a big storm followed up there.

His name is Jack Svahn. Lives in Reno now. Just turned 77. Back then he had black hair and was 6’4”.
