Feather river

Anybody been fishing the feather? Was thinking of going there for a day trip if its not closed to see if any steelhead are around, or shad.

The feather is fishing okay. Steelhead still around in the low and high flows. Lots of suckers on spawn. Dry fly action in the late evenings have been ��.

Been having some good days with guests swinging up chrome. Still no spring-run steelhead, so i believe once the flows bump up for the salmon, we are going to see a huge push of them and its going to fish really well. When this happens the Feather can fish well into July even August.
