New member introduction

Hello there! I am new to town and am eager to learn these local rivers. I fished Shad on conventional gear back in my college days up in Chico, but never on a fly. I flyfish mostly for trout and beach fish down on the coast. I enjoy figuring out how to catch fish on my own and am not looking for anybody’s secrets or to hold my hand. On the other hand, I don’t really know anybody up here so if anybody ever wants to meet up for a fishing session let me know. Tight lines!

Thank you Bill! Yea I have been to your shop a few times before the shutdown happened. Also, ordered some Shad fly tying materials over the phone a couple weeks ago. I live pretty close so it’s nice have such a quality shop nearby. Stumbled across the forum while looking at your website... Lots of time to cruise the internet these days.

We have had some good Shad seasons lately so that is a good thing.

Between the shop and this forum you should be OK.

I am sure when things get opened up more someone will most likely meet up with you on the river.
