Surf Perch information

Hey,
I am looking for information on Surf Perch fly fishing in and around the Mid to Northern California Coast.
I know there is a lot of historical information here, but I am having a hard time tracking it down.
Can anyone point me in the right direction..information-gathering wise?

I believe the three of us all tied flies for the River of a Lost Coast collection at the shop. Correct? I still have all those flies in my Trinity box.
