American River Fly Fishing Clinic with Greg Vinci
Join us on a tour of the Lower American on February 9th or the 16th where myself and guide Jared Shakin (Feb 9th) and guide Happy Nguyen (Feb 16th) will take you on a tour of the access points on the AR and show you where all of the great holding water is for Steelhead. We will point out great Shad fishing and Striper fishing areas too. The guide that will be assisting will be available to answer all of your questions about rigging and techniques. This is not a guide trip but it is an oportunity for you to learn this wonderful river that flows through our city.
We will meet at Kiene's Fly Shop at 8am and caravan to the different access points. The session will end at about 4pm. BYO lunch. The February 9th session is sold out but the February 16th session has a couple of spots open. Call the shop (800)410-1222 to sign up. Cost is $145. and 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Effie Yaw Nature Center.
