When is the Feather River good for steelhead?

Sorry for the newbie question. I’ve read that the Feather can be a good place to try for steelhead. Is now the time to try? Any advice or input?

I think it is Oct/Nov and again in March/April/May depending on the rain/snow.

Lincoln and Lance Gray are the experts who guide the Feather River.

The Feather is good for steelhead from October- November and then again in the spring - March- April.

My favorite time of the year is late November.

The Feather has tons of salmon in it - so fishing egg imitations is a must. I like 8mm beads in oranges and pinks.

Remember if we have any type of rain - worms, like the san juan work works very well.
