Where to fish when your outboard is still in the shop....

I was originally planning on fishing for delta stripers out of my 14ft. portabote, but my outboard went kaput and will be in the shop for the next few weeks.

Anyone have suggestions? Any small ponds where I can row around for a day trip?

I don't know about local rules in that area but there're several reservoirs down there. Cheseboro, Uvas and another, either in or south of Santa Clara County. There're reservoirs in the foothills around Livermore and at least two reservoirs in the hills above Berkely. So, unless prohibited, you're surrounded by opportunities to fish/row around in one of them. Good luck and please make a report when you get done....
