Saturday fishing trip did not turn out according to plan, while driving across the mountains from La Porte to Qunicy I crossed the Middle Fork of the Feather river, stopped to check it out, guy pulls up says Hi asks are you a fly angler? "Ya, I try". Are you going to fish? No, I' m headed over to the lakes. he says "i'm a guide and I'm scouting come fish with me"I hesitate, he says "You can't pass up the chance to fish with a guide for free" ends up spending an hour teaching me how to fish. made a not good day a real good day, real nice guy, thank you MIKE PEASE.......George
