Anybody have an Outcast PAC 9, (FEATHERLIGHT) pontoon?

Hello,
1st time on here. Hoping to talk to anybody who has owned an Outcast PAC 9, Featherlight pontoon.

This is not the usual PAC 900. The Featherlight model was made in 2012, maybe just a couple other years.
I have some questions regarding how you may have mounted your rod holder. The frame is nothing like the regular Outcast frames, as well as the range of motion of the oars does not allow the usual great Scotty glue on pad for rod holder. Did I mention I don’t care for those strap on rod holders, that use straps around the pontoons.
If anyone is familiar, please give me a shout.

I owned the same model pontoon. I ended up using a Scotty fly rod holder and one of their straight extension pieces. I mounted it to the square seat cross member, came forward with the extension, attached the holder to hold the rod at a low angle up and tilted back (all on left side for me). Had to dink with it a bit to get the proper angle. If you get the flyrod holder and put the butt section only in it, with reel, you can determine the length of the extension needed.

Anyway, I joined the group just to see if I could find you. Haha, OK...
Yeah, I think this thing is great, but it’s just a little weird that the frame is so hard to deal with a rod holder.
I’ll take a look at your design, and move forward!

I believe I used a combination of these three Scotty part numbers to get mine to work.

No. 260 Fly Rod Holder Without Mount
No. 459 Adjustable Rod Holder Extender
No. 243 1 1/4” Square Rail Mount
