I heard he was moving to be near his family as we are all getting older.

Anyone have an email or phone number for Ted?

Doc decided to be closer to his daughter and grand-kids in Santa Barbara and bought a townhouse down there and sold his home in Green Valley. He bought my trailer a few years ago and moved it to Bend Ore. where his nephew lives and gave it to him.

His plan is to spend summers in Bend and winters in Santa Barbara.

His cell number is the same (707) 330-9135

I took him on his last Striper trip up here a month or so ago. We had the best day ever. Tony

I just had a nice long phone conversation with Doc......up in Bend, Oregon.

Thanks Tony and Charlie for the heads up.

Ted is a real long term fly fisher in Nor Cal, living and working around Fairfield, CA for over 50 years.

He is a great guy with many good friends in our sport.

Ted bought his 15' Striper model Boston Whaler new in 1979 with a 70 hp Evinrude motor and trailer.

Ted is on his third motor which might give you and idea how much fishing he has done and how many memories he has with his boat.

He said he is approaching 80 so as Tony mentioned he is moving to Santa Barbara near his daughter.

Ted said he will try to give us some fishing reports from the lakes around Bend, Oregon for now.

As he gets more familiar with the Santa Barbara area fly fishing he will put up some reports from there too.

Any ideas where to fly fish around Santa Barbara with a 15 foot Whaler?

Might be better off keeping the boat in Bend!
