Forest Service Road 42N17 ?

Two questions:

I have gone to the USDA Forest Service site and cannot find a way to get information about whether a road is open?
Any ideas or information about where/whom to ask?

Specifically, I want to know the condition of FSR 42N17 that goes from near Callahan to Weed.

Second: Is that section of the "upper, upper" Trinity fishable or Parks Creek?

Thank you. You are, obviously, better at maneuvering those pages than I am.
Looks like the road work starts in August so I will hope it is passable next week, but at least I now have a number.
