Forest Service Road Information?

I have gone to the USDA Forest Service site and cannot find a way to get information about whether a road is open?
Any ideas or information about where/whom to ask?

Specifically, I want to know the condition of FSR 42N17 that goes from near Callahan to Weed.

No help but curious. Are you talkin bout the cecilville callahan road?

Nope.

This is a Forest Service Route from Hwy 3, just about 13-14 miles south of Callahan, that connects to the east with I5 @ weed.

Turns out it is still closed due to snow!
