........on the Lower American River for Stripers in his jet boat.

I am so lucky to have him for a friend for many reasons.

One, is that when I am out with him we have a good time and I might actually catch something.


We worked together at the shop for over 20 years and so Andy like family to Marilyn and I.


7,400 cfs is not the flow I usually fish but it will suck in lots of fish if we can find them.

The river is around 7,400 cfs and pretty clear.

We got some small Stripers and saw a school of about a dozen 5 to 20 pound Stripers around Watt Ave.

We can down on them but no luck........I guess we spooked them when we ran over them....at least they are in the river.


We saw tons of geese and ducks all over the river.
