If you have not been out there before it is actually a beautiful clear lake with bass and panfish in the summer and planted trout in the winter.

They have RV and tent camping out there too...

A float tube, pontoon boat, kayak, canoe, SUP or small boat would be best.

They rent all kinds of water craft like kayaks, peddle boats, SUP........small boats.

They planted it in early April for a tournament on April 6, 2019.

We went to Rancho Seco Recreation area this week with our little motor home.

Bass are spawning and planted trout are biting.

April/May is just beautiful out there....only 31 miles south on Hwy 99 from Kiene's Fly Shop.

You need to drive out there and check it out.......

RV camping and tent camping.

Boat rentals.....kayaks, SUP, peddle boats, and 14' aluminum with electric motors ($60/day).

Well stocked store....

Boat launch....electric motors only.

Clear water supplied from Folsom Lake.

Modern bathrooms, showers, laundry....


Spring, summer and fall for Bass & Panfish

Fall, winter and spring for large planted Rainbow trout.
