SweetGrass 8' 3/2 5wt Bamboo Fly Rod. New in tube.

For sale is a SweetGrass 8' 3/2 5wt hollow built bamboo fly rod. This rod was hand crafted and completed in May 2012 by the BooBoys in Twin Bridge, MT., SweetGrass first rod making shop before they move to their current location. This rod is in new unused condition, not even lawn casted. The plastic wrap is still on the cork handle. I spoke to Jerry Kustich in late 2011 at length to customise a true hollow built 5 weight in anticipation for a trip to Henry's Fork in the Fall of 2012. Unfortunately I ended up travelling with graphite instead due to luggage size and security restrictions for international flights. This rod was built by the BooBoys as a true and solid 5wt, designed and crafted for the waters at the Henry's Fork Railroad Ranch where delicate, accurate and long fly presentation are frequently required.

Asking for $2000. I'll pay the packaging and courier cost. A new 3/2 rod from SweetGrass is now $2600 with a 4-6months waiting time. Will entertain any reasonable offer.
