We're in the heart of Winter Steelhead season in Northern California. The past few weeks have dealt us a couple of good windows to get after these fish. As many of you should know going into these pursuits; these fish don't often come easy. Even when you happen to time the conditions just right, it ain't a sure thing. Winter Steelhead fishing requires a strong effort and thick skin. Prepare to be humbled by the rivers and fish that swim through them. Your playing a game that has the odds stacked against you. Our guide staff can help expedite the learning curve for you and enhance your odds of shaking hands with a wild, elusive Steelhead this Winter. The unpredictable nature of this game is what makes your success that much sweeter.

We're currently off the water due to swelled rivers and dirty water in the North State. We will be in Sacramento this weekend at the International Sportsman's Expo. Come by our booth in the Fly Fishing Pavilion, We'd love to meet some of the board members here.

Yes, you need to be the right kind of person to chase winter Steelhead.

For many year, pre-Spey, almost no one guided fly fishing for Winter Steelhead.

I been around this now for 50 years so I watch all the change.

Spey fishing is the greatest thing to happen to the Northwest Steelheading.

The first time I saw 'Rivers Of A Lost Coast' I thought, man, that water really needed protection. I'm not saying it's too late, but...
