Of course the American is really hot......has never been better. It's loaded of those "adult fish ready to take a swang fly". As a matter in fact, fished Watt a couple of days ago and hooked into several of those adult bright fish. Went up by Gritsmill and saw another guy across the river landing more fish followed by a few more fish on my own...............Red hotttttttt!!!!!

Glad to hear Im not the only one out there enjoying the push of fresh bright fish thats coming through the system right now. Ill probably be out there mid next week, just to get away and see if I can find one willing to take a swung fly. If you see me say hi, look for a big red beard, and possibly a boat. I love this time of year in the lower part of the river, especially after a heavy rain like we just saw.
