I am so encouraged by the number of salmon in the upper stretch of the river! To me its not what it was prior to our drought years but better. If you take a little time and look in some of the likely water you will find good numbers of salmon with EAGER trout behind them just waiting to eat a passing egg! Don't pass by the side channels. Anchor your boat and get out and check it out (with out walking on redds please). Grab your egg box and get out there!!!!
