Echo Trip Fly Rod review?

My father is looking for a good fly rod to travel with and during our research we saw the 8 piece Echo Trip Fly rod.

I had the original model (5wt) over 5 years ago which I used about 6 times. Overall I felt it did not save enough space to warrant fishing with a rod with just "okay" action and feeling. Original model had a case that had space for the rod, a reel and a fly box.

Cast the present model to see if they have improved the feel and action.
