I'm still learning my various line set ups. Can someone break down the key differences between these two lines and what sort of situations would call for fishing one vs. the other? Thanks in advance!

The big difference is in the line core. The in touch has Rio’s connect core, no stretch technology. The visual difference is that with the no stretch core the line is not a clear or even opaque color. The camolux with out the new core is a translucent color.

For trout in lakes I don’t believe there is any advantage to the in touch line unless sink rate is different. For something big like tarpon it would probably be better for setting the hook but should not make any difference in strike detection. This observation is totally a deduction since I do not own the in touch line.

Good point in the hook sets.

I know the in touch lines perform better while casting. However it is a small margin of casters that can feel the difference between the lines. I guess the difference is really in the price.
