Norm Norlander had a short fight with cancer and passed away.

Many of us knew him from the many fly fishing shows he attended showing us how great his fly tying Nor-Vise and tools were.

Sad news. Norm was such a pleasant man and a very good teacher. Listening to his fly tying videos reminded me of the way Mr. Rogers on TV talked. Very effective. I love my Norvise.

I've been tying on his vise for about 20 years now. Met him at the shows but also dealt with him on the phone. Always will remember my surprise when I called the customer service number and the person answered "this is Norm how can I help you". I had a jaw I bought that had some issues and he quickly sent out a new one to me at no cost and when my wife at the time bought me a new fine point jaw for christmas, but did not get me the kit with all the parts I needed, he just sent me the extra parts to the kit at no cost after I told him what happened.
Great guy, products, and support. Quite a loss to the sport.
