Fished the North Nets from 1 to 4:30 for one snagged fish midging. Changable winds, nice chop, 58 deg water
and lots of cruising fish. Went to Pelican to show my rookie the layout and saw three fish caught in 10 min. Should have moved, but it's hard to walk away when you see fish.
I will fish it again in about a week, starting at Pelican.

Gee, I was there too, started at Pelican, saw nothing caught, and picked up one nice one at Wino, which had much better conditions and no people. A much larger fish tried to take my fly as I was pulling the leader out of the water near my feet but did not hook up. Red beetle or nymph got strikes. Light pressure.
