Made the trek again to Pyramid.

Fished from 10:00 am till 6:00 pm at Separator.

The "good".
The weather was warm enough today to wear my 15+ year old Simms breathable waders.
I haven't worn them for at least 5 years and brought the neoprenes as a "just in case they leak" backup.
To my surprise, no leaks, and I was quite comfortable with just fleece pants and Smartwool socks !!

The "bad".
Missed one (indicator) strike and landed one slot fish.
I watched about 100+ fish cruise back and forth in front of me throughout the day.
There were singles and schools of up to ~ 20 cruising the shallows (in about 5 feet of water) and they weren't interested in midges, nymphs, or leeches.
The one slot fish I managed to fool was well off shore from where the cruisers were.

The "ugly".
There were patches of floating moss.
It tangled either in my guides, leader, indicator, and in one or both flies about every 4th cast.
I spent a lot of time cleaning crap off of my rig.
I proclaim that I was the "Moss Magnet of Pyramid Lake" today.

The Ranger came by in the late afternoon checking permits too.

Off to bed now, this ole' boy is a little tired.
