I'll be down there is 2 weeks. Still catching a few yellow fin, a wahoo every now and then. The thing about this time of year is you can get a blow out. The winds were blowing earlier this week and keep the boats on the beach. A few dorado have shown up so things should start changing. No reports of roosters yet. Heard from one of my captains that there are schools of bait, some large bait.

Best outlook in the last 4 years. I'll be fishing out of the La Ventana area but staying at the Hotel Blue in La Paz. One of the best hotels in La Paz, 3 years old, roof top bar, roof top pool and close to all the eating establishments, especially Rancho Viejo. Can't wait for the two weeks to get here.

I have a week in October 6 - 13th booked for La Paz. I think one of the best time to be down there. Species are jacks, roosters, dorado, marlin, yellow fin, wahoo. The price for this trip is $1,995.00. $200.00 cheaper than the spring trips. Includes 7nights/6days fishing, lodging, breakfast/lunch, airport transportation, beach transportation, fishing license.

I've been doing Baja for 26 years and got to know the captains and waters quite well. We fly fish and will troll only if the clients feel the need. I do have rental equipment and all the flies you will need.

One of my best salt water trips was to La Paz a few years back in the Spring on one of Jay's group trips.

I loved seeing and catching Roosterfish. They are so cool.....

I really enjoyed going to a different restaurant every night in La Paz.
