I have the complete line of Axiom II rods. The 5 and 6 wt used for carp and bass. The 7 and 8 weight used for bones in Christmas Island in 30mph winds no casting problem. The 8 and 9 will be used in Baja in a few weeks, hopefully pulling on some yellow fin, dorado and a few roosters. The 10 and 12 weight, going to Aitutaki in late October for some grueling had fighting GT's.
I can't say enough about the rods, fast response, lot's of lifting power in the butt. If you haven't casted one of these rods, ya gotta get down to your nearest fly shop and test them out.
