I decided that my "window of opportunity" would be today, before this next storm arrives.
I've always been told fishing is best "in front of a front"........
I fished from 10:30 till 5:30 today with the same dismal results as my last trip.
I went 1 for 2.
That was the "average" for the five other sticks out there today too.
NOTHING on the balanced leech, however, both fish took a red snow-cone midge.
I guess spring is officially here.
While chatting with a couple of other guys, the lake (for some unknown reason) has been REALLY SLOW the past couple of weeks for them too.
So, I'll just wait out this oncoming storm and give it another shot.........maybe next week.
