Dreech II
Hook: TMC 200, Size 8
Bead: 3.2mm Copper Tungsten. Color with brown indelible ink and coat with UV resin. I've added additional weight with 15 turns of .015 lead.
Tail: Tuft of brown rabbit
Body: Simi Seal, Canadian Brown mixed with 15-20 percent
Hend's Spectra Dubbing #335 (Dark Brown). (Looks like copper.)
Collar: Sybai Fine Flash, Dark Peacock. Veils body.
If you want to straighten the Simi Seal fibers out slightly just do a real quick dunk in boiling water. A little longer dunk and some shaping with your fingers will get them almost completely straight. Be careful. Shake the water out before shaping. I wear a nitrile glove or steal the wife's latex gloves.
Coloring the bead then apply UV gives the bead a very unique look! Give it a try.
