Buying this reel would make you the owner of a big piece of fly fishing history.

You would never loose any money having it for any length of time.

I guess it would be nice on a 6 weight split cane, classic fiberglass 6 weight or a Switch rod?

Bogdan specs. say it holds a WF7 and 50 yds of backing. So the reel does not have a lot a capacity. that said it would work on a trout spey or 6wt or small single hand rod.

I have two Bogdans and I love them. I also have a Bogdan LHW Salmon 0. the left hand wind is rare. I am asking 2500.00 for it as well.

Thanks for the notice Bill. I do hate to part with it, but I just have to. The $2500 is firm.

The full specs are : Large Trout, 3.25", 5.5oz, 0.96"spool width, 50#20 with a 7. Lots of backing with a 6wt.
