Thanks Bill...unfortunately that talking head doesn't let the truth interfere with a good story.New Zealander Carl McNeil was instrumental in convincing all parties that there was actually a future in changing the generational mindset of the Aitutaki net fishermen.It's an incredible success story and a singular achievement for which all fly fishermen owe Carl a huge debt.It's more than six years since I fished with Itu and where I caught my biggest Bonefish in twelve years of chasing them.Got to get back sooner rather than later....
