This rod has been out on two trips. Once in Naples, FL and once in Kiribati. Unfortunately I haven't had much luck with this rod as there has never been a fish on the end of this rod...well unless you count an instant strip set knot break and a missed strip set. Reason I am unloading this rod is I have a TFO 10/11 and figure if I do another destination trip I'd prefer to have a 2 8's, 1 10/11, 1 12 so it's a little redundant.
Rod is in great shape. No scratches with the exception of some tiny nicks.
The 1st and 2nd guide are bent by design from the factory in case line catches on the guide while hooked up to a fish and it just slides right off if caught. I thought I had an issue when I first bought this from the seller and ask for an exchange and got the same exact thing on the second rod.
