A lot of the free stone type rivers and creeks are starting to see a good deal of anchor ice and floating ice especially in the shady areas. The EC has a lot of Ice on the edges and honestly I probably wouldn't bother until we get a significant rain event to clear things up. The EW however is still fishing well for the winter and flows are up at 75 CFS which is good winter time flows. The reservoir is very full. Midges, small black stones, and egg patters have been doing the trick. Find some slower/deeper water with a little flow and you should get some grabs. Pressure is very light. In fact I didn't run into another angler yesterday and only saw one in the miles I drove along the river.
I'm getting tired of this endless high pressure pattern over the Pacific.
