Lower American river flow & Half-pounders

The flow right now is 1,980 cfs which is perfect for wading the Lower American River.

I just talked to Andy Guibord and he said they were catching a few but not very good this Fall, so far.

I would get out there, early and/or late in the day.


Anyone have any luck......?

At least now I don't feel guilty about not going out yet this fall...

Andy said they were getting some Half=pounders in the Low Flow of the Lower Feather River.

He does hear about a Half-pounder being caught on the American but not many.


I would hope that some of you would get out very early and/or very late in the day right now to see if there are any around.
