I have a used Hungarian Partridge skin that has plenty of feathers left... mostly size 12 and up. There are definitely tricks to use to make an extra large feather work on a smaller hook but I just don't have the patience for that as I can't ever get the fibers to lay back the same as with a palmered feather.
I'd really like this skin to go to a new fly tyer who is looking to learn how to tie and fish some soft hackles.
