Fall is here!

This fall has started out pretty good. Lot’s of fish and lot’s of wind.
Just love living on this beautiful Delta. I figured I would do a post since it’s been awhile.
Not fishing as much as the last couple years, but you can always find a couple good ones if you know where to look.

I recently went out twice with my brother on the Sacramento. Caught 65 fish. 6 species all on flies. large mouth bass, small mouth bass, Stripers, pike, crappie, and one salmon. Would like to get into some bigger Stripers, but so far have not had any luck. Any hints?

I think Oct/Nov/Dec are some top months in the Delta for Stripers.

We have some great skiff guides in the Delta.

I imagine that when you get into a ton of small fish you should move if you are looking for some bigger ones.

Precisely. My thoughts are that if there are a bunch little guys around, the bigger ones are not.
