I agree with Darian,,,, you guys had a GREAT day. What rod was that light blue one ?

Hey Tony, I am not sure the brand, but it was a fiberglass 12wt. They would put out the chum and you would see the shark come in and then decide what rod to use. I got a 50lber on a 7wt Loomis NRX. I thought it would break it, but it handled fine. I brought my 6wt TFO BVK to catch bait, and I think I could have landed the smaller shark on that rod as well. Jim and I fished with Dave Trimble a couple of years ago for mako's and Jim got a nice one. While fishing for more bait Dave gave me a 5 wt. for the mackeral. Great fun. Suddenly the mackeral disappeared and a small blue came in and I took that on a 5 wt. :) Glad it was a small one.
