The Shasta-Trinity-Cascades Chapter of Trout Unlimited is proud to host the 2017 Fly Fishing Film Tour (“F3T”) at the Cascade Theatre in Redding, CA on Friday, October 27, 2017. Doors open at 6:00 p.m., and the show starts at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are available at the Cascade Theater Box Office (in person or online at www.cascadetheatre.org) and at The Fly Shop in Redding, CA. Kids 12 and under get in free!
2017 marks the F3T's 11th lap around North America and this year's lineup of films is without question the best the tour has ever presented! With backdrops ranging from Kamchatka and Siberia, to Florida, Idaho and Montana, to Christmas Island and beyond, these films feature fresh, dynamic stories and some of the best fishing footage that has ever been shot. From the hunt for giant taimen, to the pursuit of wily tarpon, gargantuan pike, mouse-eating rainbows, herculean Salmon, and the ferocious Russian nelma, these films showcase remarkable places, larger than life characters, and fish that will haunt your dreams.
This year’s film is presented by The Fly Shop, and proceeds from this event will help the Shasta-Trinity-Cascades Chapter of Trout Unlimited work to conserve, protect, and restore Northern California’s remarkable cold water fisheries and their watersheds.
This is a great excuse to come up to Jefferson for the weekend. As you know, fishing will be primo!
