Fishings been fun the past couple weeks though it's mostly small steelies, still fun when your catching plenty. Today however, flows are increasing to 2,000 cfm to aid the Salmon run and will stay that way till next week. Not sure if it will be low enough to wade anymore before it closes on the 15th.

What size are those little Steelies?

I use to get guys in from Stockton who caught those little steelies in the spring on caddis imitations....March/April?

8 to 12 inches. Caught on #16 Silvey's Beaded Pupa and #16 Red copper John about 30" under a Hopper or Parachute Adams. Small but a lot of fun to catch. BTW, I bought my first fly rod from you Bill back in 97 or 98.
