Used twice, and both times got big fish (#1--10 lb. trout from Comanche Pond, #2--19" Brown two days ago, Fuller) and handled them pretty well for a medium action glass rod ( would be slow action for carbon fiber).

I have four of these CGR rods and this one is the fastest of the line, yet it's still slower than most modern glass rods. Not parabolic, but a nice deep bend for fish of most any size. Like most glass, will handle a variety of lines. I've used a 7 wt clear intermediate and a T-130 with good success.

Beautiful deep green with nice tipping, 3-piece with case. Perfect creek rod.

Love the CGRs, but this one is a little short to get much distance from the pontoon, so away it goes. I'd give this one a 10/10 as it's like new.

$130 new
Take it for $85 cash, including case, local pickup
