Aloha, went snorkeling with family last weekend. Thought some of you might enjoy. These are oama, favorite forage of reef predators.

WOW!!! Beautiful photography. Too hot around here to think about much else than staying in A/C buildings....

Don,

Do you ever see the milkfish skimming or sucking the surface feeding? Algae fly time :)
Aloha, Tony

Hey Guys, Jay it is a Nikon Coolpix. I had trouble with my last Fuji, the Nikon has been great. Darian, sorry it is so hot, at least you are not in Houston like my cousin's family. Yes Tony I saw them sucking up some algae, no fishing in the ponds, they are protected and the fish know it. Can't wait to get back to CI next spring and get some on a woolybugger again. The ahi left but lots of mahi around right now. I should get out over the labor day weekend. Don.

I've been using a Olympus T4 for 3 years. I also purchased the polarizer lens. I'll try and find some of my underwater shots and post.
I don't know if you ever saw the underwater video I took a few years ago with the pilot sharks off Cerralvo Island. They came in and ate a skip jack.

That would be cool. I would love to see some footage of an elephant seal in action. I hooked a pilot whale one time that ate a whole skipjack I was using for bait for big ahi. It lasted about 30 seconds and made a strong run before cutting the 300lb leader. I am waiting for my son Luke to put together a mako shark video from this past summer. I will post when he is finished. Don.
