Bill, where are you getting those numbers for the Lower Yuba? Dremaflows shows it at 2437 cfs.

I also have 1800 and that is with two apps. River data is one and FishHead is the other. Both are showing near the 1800 cfs.

Noticed on Fishhead that the Trinity @ Junction City shot back up today.

Yes Bill it is nice to see DWR managing our water more carefully this year....

Without knowing...? you have also shown the projected, future flow for the Lower American River according to DWR as the AR is supposed to drop to 2000 cfs on October 1, 2017.

It is very nice having so much water... I am seeing many things I have not seen in a great many years on our river... (black crowned night herons, 7" salmon smolts, massive schools of 4" juvenile steelhead feeding on abundant caddis, fungi and ferns and a mountain lion to name just a few)

This Fall should be fantastic with the good water flows.

October is my favorite month for fly fishing for many species.

The weather is not hot and it is not cold......

Try to get a trip planned in October.

Stripers in the Delta, Steelhead in longer rivers, trout in larger stream and mid-elevation lakes are all good in the Fall.

Contact me if you need any ideas or any help planning something.

For clarification on the Yuba use this site: http://cdec.water.ca.gov/river/yubaStages.html

The reading near Smartville reflects the river near the hwy 20 bridge and reads close to 2400. The gauge near Marysville reads closer to 1800.
