High elevation lakes and streams are good now.

Going to the Pacific coast right now for surf fishing for perch, stripers and halibut would be "cool".

Inshore boat fishing for Stripers, Halibut and Rock fish could also be good.

Just heard that top water fishing in the Delta for LMB and SMB is good early and late in the day.

Stripers are usually good on the Lower Sacramento and the Lower American River right now.

Andy Guibord is guiding right now on the American and Hogan Brown and Tony Buzolich are doing the Sacramento.

Great time in Idaho/Montana for trout especially the windy afternoons with grass hopper patterns.

Lower reaches of long rivers like the Klamath and Rogue a good for Half-pounders early and late in the day.

Lower reaches of the Klamath and Rogue rivers are cooling off into the high 60 degrees right now.

Salmon are closed now on the Klamath but open and doing well on the Rogue River.

Silver Salmon and Rainbow trout are targeted in Alaska at this time of year.

Even though it is around hurricane time this is baby Tarpon time in the Tropics.

There is almost always something to fly fish for year round in Nor Cal.

Contact me if you need any help planning a trip even, if it is to get out on the Lower American River for Half-pounders.
