Bill, Great video and must watch for anyone wanting to buy any new large toy.

Liked his comment that buying a new, expensive and fully loaded kayak is a great deal--- for the next owner. Something most of us have experienced during our life and from our acquisition of toys.

I would add: take lessons before you buy, to see what you really need and if you like it. Adventure Sports/Kayak City and California Canoe & Kayak are reputable hardshell retailers in the Sacramento area who have diff brands/model, demos and classes. Lance Gray does an on-water class on the Lower Yuba for fishing inflatables.

Also, do not overlook retailers for used boats... in the off season (approx Sept- Apr), most retailers discount boats that were demos, used in classes/tours, overstock or just last year's models.
