About mid-August they start showing up in the long drainages down near the ocean.
The Klamath and Rogue Rivers are the two most famous.
Probably Sept/Oct are my favorite months to fish for these little hot beauties.
I have friends who will be on the lower Rogue River next week down low fishing from the first riffles above the ocean all the way up to the little town of Agness.
The Lower American and lower Eel Rivers get some Half-pounders too.
